Credit card terminal (Clover) not working
Cause: Clover may be disconnected with POS terminal.
Troubleshoot and solution: 1)
Reconnect Clover with POS terminal. (Follow
steps on Clover connection instruction guide)
2) Check
if Clover Terminal has power connected. All connections to Clover are all
securely connected.
3) Make
sure the router which the Clover is connected to has power and all lights are
green. If Clover is connected via Wifi, please make sure the Wifi is working
properly.
4)
Restart
the Clover Terminal by opening the back door behind the terminal. A small green
button inside toward the inner part of the compartment. Press and hold the
button for 3 seconds will prompt the restart/power off option appear on the
Clover display screen. Select restart the terminal. After Clover restarted,
Pair it with POS system to resume connection.
